| Happy Tuesday. There is too much drama going in the office manager's life and she can't leave it at home. Sometimes this office is too small for the two of us. *heads desk* But enough of that. Does anyone here watch BIG BANG THEORY? OMG, that show is just too funny. Thinking about last night's ep is helping me get through today. Sheldon and his friends comparing themselves to the X-Men but instead it would be Sheldon Cooper and his C - Men. Loved what their mutant powers would be. LOL!!!!!! | |

| HI YA REMEMBER ME?
I am still around. I pop in from time to time to check in on everyone and make sure you all are not causing a ruckus or something.
As for me I am staying out of trouble......trying to at least. Still doing the Karate. Still content at 5th Kyu. And still training very hard.

| WOOHOO had an AWESOME CLASS TONIGHT. Man I love Karate.
I am now doing alot on Cardio Machines and am now running around the Track at the Y. I can now go around the Track THREE TIMES. I think I made Harvey's mouth drop to the Floor. I am doing better at his Warm Ups and I surprised him today. My stamina is getting much better He was very impressed with me. And when we Jog around the Gym I am managing to keep up with him. I am seeing such an improvement. And I am no longer being Partnered with George. HALLELUJAH. Sensei was very understanding about me not working with him and my reasons.

| Hi Squirrels! Long time noch chat. And I must admit, I came here many times and didn't post a thing. But I didn't felt like doing so at that time. Weird... Anyways: Is anyone of you going to vancouver con this week(end)? Or does anyone know someone who is? Cause I'll go there on saturday (given that I still get a ticket at the entrance ) and it would be a shame when we wouldn't meet. Maybe one of you twitterers could get the word out to the tweeter-squirrels? I feel so unconnected... And if one of you was at that con before, could you tell me please if you can pay for things there in CA$ or do you need US$? Cause evereywhere on the website they talk about US$ but it is in canada none the less. Will try to give me a kick in the backside to post a (2 Month) update of my time here in canada before I go back home.. next month I want to stay! CU | |

| @Carsy: Thank you very much. So at least now I know I'm not alone. xD You can tweet her, that I'll be wearing a black Ninja-Squirrel shirt and will be standing in the lineup for a single day ticket. (I thought about searching a central and good viewable spot and screaming "Rapunkooo!" but I don't think I have the guts for that)
Edit: Ah-hahaha! Sometimes it's a good thing when you don't delete all your E-Mails. In the case that MM has access to her E-Mail: I sent her my cell#.

| Hi, peoples...
I discovered today that squirrels (the real ones) can be little pigs! We have a tray of food for them on our front porch, so we see them all the time. Well, today when I got home from school, I saw one eating and decided to watch it since I don't really get to do that. I don't know how long the little bugger was there before I saw him, but he was eating for a good ten minutes before he left! lol

| WOOHOO
Learning new Drills in Karate and doing some Sparring with Brown Belts. Brown Belts, can you believe it. Sensei is matching me with people my own skill level, strength level, height level. And no more George and I. Loving that. Okay it took me to say "Hey George is not in control and he's hurting people" Nobody else would say anything. It took me to do it. When I fight I do have a Black Belt coaching me and telling me what to do. He's there to Referee and to tell the Higher Belt not to punish me too much. Have better Sparring Gloves that protect my hands a bit better. They have more padding in them and my fingers are protected more. Used them last night and they're awesome.
Did a back fist to the side of the head, spin around, do another back fist and then finish it off with a reverse punch. It's a lot harder than it looks. And doing the moves we do in Kata on a Partner and trying to remember "said moves" when we Spar. I am too busy protecting myself and trying not get creamed to remember Kata moves in Sparring.
Harvey is going for Shodan (2nd Dan) in August. I hope he passes that. I really do.

| *cries* They've gotta be kidding me! They better do! Got an EMail this morning.... Newsletter from Fedcon in germany. Not only is David going to be there (knew that after I booked my flight to and from canada), no, Joe F decided to go too. And I'm stuck here in Canada. So Everyone who has enough money and isn't too far from germany (you can fly Frankfurt and then take the train or take the train all the way (go vulcano go! )) GO THERE! Okay, I'm not sure if they arrange to put them both on the same stage (which is hillarious) but if they do... I guess I can hear the laughter even here. XD Well.... I'm happy for those who can attend. And they better make it a good con so they both want to come back really badly ^^ Will put up some (baaaaaad quality) pictures from Creation up this evening. | |

| Soooo Creation Con.... Smaller and way harder to find than I thought. Seriously. I went there with an image of germany's fedcon in mind, thinking that *Creation* in canada, -the home of Stargate- will be a huge con. You know... Fedcon (which I say is a big con) you can tell from half a mile distance and if you are there the first time... simply follow the klingons that wander through the whole city. Or any other person looking like a treckie, gater, browncoat, jedi... Within 99% you'll end up in the right place. Or when you know you're close just follow the masses. Masses I say and don't exaggerate. Creation... not so much XD. Okay, it was my fault not looking at the directions as I usually do (thank god I remembered the street...McKay Ave. not too difficult ). My fault that I wandered about half an hour through the rain. And then I'm this kind of person that sais: "I screwed this up, I will solve it myself" aka: erm... won't ask anyone for directions. (Not that there were that many people around anyways) Then, I finally found it... Yes, I took the chance and followed someone walking through the street with an "Archaeology for Dummies"-Book, figured *that* might be the right person to follow. The good thing about creation being that small: You're closer to the people and you can walk around more freely. And I guess Foto OPs and autographs are faster too (don't have times from Fedcon for this). But if David takes his time for autographs -as he did that saturday- at fedcon too.... some might queue till midnight Yep, I was waaaaaaay back in the line for David's autograph (about 5 or 6 people behind me) and had to wait till 9:45pm. The autograph session started at 6:15pm. So you tell me if that's usual or not. The time I got out they were almost finished with preparing sunday's breakfast-tables. Now: as I said, some bad quality photos form the con. Well... less bad quality that tiny people. I think I need a special Con-cam. One with an huge zoom. Thought 6x might be enough but obviously not... Not enough for me. I'm a zoom junkie. Okay, who needs names to the pics? I learned one thing that weekend: Photo OPs = not that a big problem for me. Yay! This was my first time ever and even though I can't recall every detail I didn't shake, stammer or blush (too much) and could walk straight afterwards. Now only the picure has to be good. Will know in may. oh and: Vancouver squirrel! | |

| Hi, Ekorre. Glad to hear you had fun. I am very jealous and happy for you. Getting to David and Joe together on STAGE sounds like a riot. David's autograph line always take forever because he wants to have a conversation with each person. He is not one to just say hi, sign your pic and then quickly move on to the next person. Did you get to meet up with any other Squirrels? Love the pics. | |

| Hm, I guess after 3 month I got the hang of canadian public transit. Only the bus stops are hard to find. And the squarely streets that I first found confusing become more and more logical.
I ended my internship with the city of chilliwack yesterday. I almost cried when I stood at the street waiting for my bus. Somehow the goodbye wasn't as bad as my first one but I guess once come may 13th I'll cry like it's the last day. I don't want to fly back. Time has gone by so fast I feel like I came here maybe a week ago.
Now, it's the time for me to travel. First plan was in 13 days from winther to spring which looked quite promising regarding the news from tuesday but now as I landed in Calgary and there's no winter (snow) at all.... it looks more like a drive through the Rockies. I'm so excited. Calgary, Banff, Jasper, Golden, then I have still to decide if I drive Kamploos or Kelowna (But I think Kelowna wins. With THAT name XD) Hope, Chilliwack (to say goodbye for the last time) Vancouver. Then, if I have enough time (as it looks like right now) I'll hop on a bus and go to Victoria.
And I just realised, that I didn't post any pictures of the Chilliwack area yet. Shame on me! Oh, there's also one pic of greenland and some of Vancouver (some were taken during the olympics). http://img714.yfrog.com/gal.php?g=stc0769.jpg
