| Looks like you will have a great time at the con, AL!! I'm hoping to go to Dragon Con. My problem is not so much the cost, as timing and how to get to Atlanta. Also, it's close to my birthday, so I could let that be my pressie! Besides being Labor Day Weekend (holiday), that's the week after school starts, and there's a ballgame Friday night (my older one is in band). I could drive or fly... Not sure I want to drive all that way by myself, but flying by myself is a very scary prospect!! I'm leaning toward flying even though it does make me feel nauseous every time I think about it! Megan -- Love what you've done with the place! | |

| David just confirmed on Twitter that he is indeed a guest at Chevron 7.4. I have a favor to ask you lucky Squirrels who get to see him!!!! So far he is booked for this event and Two Creation Events but no word on Dragon*con yet. I guess I just feeling a bit insecure. Would someone please ask David if he plans to come to Dragon*con 2010 this labour day weekend? PLEASE. | |

| Hi there! Long time no see. I hope you all had great holidays and a good slide into the new year (as we say here. Happy new year!) RL still being a pita though I see some progress in my building law studies. At least something. Nothing much else to say, maybe that in 22 Days it'll be the longest day of 2010 for me. 32 hours of which I'll be off ground more or less 10.5 hours XD @Megan: Great job on the new layout. And I just had to log out to see the log in bar. BTW is it just me or are some emoticons not showing up correctly? I miss the stargate-themed ones | |

| @Ekorre: I may have to re-load them onto the forum. I'm at school right now, so they're not going to show up on the computer. I'm gonna have to double check at home, but they *shouldn't* not be showing up... | |

| Scary -- I hope so. I would love to meet you too!
Ekorre -- Hello! Hi there! Nice to see ya! Welcome back! Where are you traveling that will take so long?
Megan -- Place still looking good. I had also noticed that about the emoticons.
Just two weeks till I become a student again! Starting to get nervous... Worse than starting high school.

| *screams* Guys! Head to Google, type in 'minigeek', and hit "I'm feeling lucky". This site is the number one entry on the results list!!!! Near the top for Yahoo, as well! I looked on Bing, but my Twitter page for miniGeek was near the top instead of the site, itself. This is really exciting for me... | |

| @Ava: I'm traveling 1/3 round the world, from germany to canada! *is excited* I'll stay there (chilliwack) for three month for an internship and add some days of my annual holidays to the end of that.
@Megan: it was minigeek. org on #1 when I last checked google. Though maybe they're paying someone for that rank XD

| @Ekorre: We were at #1 when I checked earlier. I was lazy and didn't want to type up the entire address, so I just put in miniGeek into Google. *shrugs* Maybe it goes back and forth between us and minigeek.org, depending on traffic from the sites, themselves... | |

| Hello everyone!! Been around, just mostly lurking lately. Real life has been keeping me busy. Mostly ordinary stuff; just lots of it. I had finally figured out that I could probably go to Dragon Con! Was feeling very YAY! about it. Then I discovered that there are almost no accommodations left at all! I was concerned about being able to get a ticket, but that seems to be the easiest thing to get for that con! This is an edit -- Found some fellow squirrels with space!!! SQEEE!!!! Ekorre -- What part is Chilliwack in? AL -- I know you will have fun! Isn't this the weekend for Chevron? | |

| Hi ya everyone! Guess who?
Well what is new with me? I just had my first big Karate Injury. I pulled a groin muscle over two weeks ago and then last week I re-injured it. And on top of that I came down with a Sinus Cold that turned into a Chest Cold. So I been out of commission for a week. Now I am back in the saddle.
But now am feeling much better and back at Karate. Everyone missed me a lot. I have two Mother Hens now at Karate. Harvey is still my protector and now I have another Black Belt watching out for me, Domenic and he's cute too. Two mother hens. I could get used to this.
Funny Karate Moment
Doing Harvey's Warm Ups and he shouts "Now be careful and don't pull a groin muscle. I am not going to mention any names, FRAN" I said "What? Who me? N'ah never"
It's not all serious in Karate. It's relaxed and fun place.

| Hello! Guess who? Well it is official. I am now a 2nd Green Belt. I passed my re-test. I am so happy. The re-test came as a surprised as I was not at all ready. I like warnings more than surprises. But I guess that is Martial Arts, to expect the unexpected. I was actually shocked. Coming out from Injury and being sick and not being in Class much due to it and with the Dojo closed over Christmas. I guess I was more prepared for it than I thought.
Fran is a 5th Kyu Second Green Belt, I am working now towards my 3rd and Final Green Belt and then it is Brown Belt baby. WOOHOO.

| @Fran: Congratulations! Always expect the unexpected and you'll do fine! One more day, one more day.... *is excited* Haven't packed yet BUT I have built small heaps. Not sure if it'll fit in my bag though... Looks a bit too much. Too much clothes and loads of Haribo and some Wiebele. A fellow student flew today but he's headed to the *colder* part. (Thunderbay) They say there'll be highest temperatures around -10°C this week? I know there're much colder/freezing parts in Canada but THAT is already cold for me. But... right now it's much colder here at home than in Chilliwack. How weird is that? XD Nearly slipped on my way home. I just hope the snow they announced for thursday will come in late, after boarding and take-off XD | |

| @animallover I still have the passion. Wow two years been at it. Cool or what. I have one more Green Belt to get then it is onto 3 Levels of Brown then I head into Black Belt Land. And that is where Harvey is right now. We're looking forward to tossing each other around the Dojo. Not literally of course. We don't actually toss each other around the room. It's fun saying it to each other though. | |

| All I say is sh... weather. We had some snow tonight (3 cm here, someplace else up to 10cm) and now what? First time ever I get one of my flights cancelled. Had to call them yesterday night but I'm glad we found out "early on". Fortunately it's "only" the internal flight and I already got a train ticked in exchange but I'm still pissed. That's exactly what we didn't want. Having to ride the train with my 20kg/44lbs luggage. Ah well, as long as the vancouver plane doesn't get cancelled... Still have an eye on the train schedule as the train due 15 minutes prior was cancelled as well... Cross your fingers! | |

I now have a Radio Show Called Geekdom Costuming, its first show was today, not a big turn out, but that was due to bad timing and lack of "pimping" lol Next week our Show will be Monday 2nd of Feb(NZ Time) and will feature the LONG overdue Debate, "SGA vrs SGU" Bookmark this Page to listen in on My Future Monday...lol http://www.blogtalkradio.com/geekdomcostuming Spread the Word, if I get enough listeners, I might get enough Balls to ask some guests to come on the show... | Hey AL.I am so excited right now because I am going to the BLUE RODEO CONCERT tonight!! Now I just have to make it thru 8 hours of boring work. Hi EKORRE, I hope you are were able to catch your flight. Thunder Bay can be really, really, really cold. I lived there for two years. You definitely were lucky to get to come to a warmer part of Canada. I forget what it is you are coming to Canada for? How long is your stay? Congrats, Nanook on your grading. Still at it after two years that is impressive. NZ, That is so cool that you are doing a radio show. As for SGA vs SGU, I think both shows are great. Well must get to work.
