Do you think the line up will be as long for the MegaGate panel as it was last year? I hate to think of all those fans standing out there in the rain. Luckily last year, it wasn't too hot and we had some cover so we weren't out in the sun. It was still a long wait.

Looking forward to LOTS OF PICS, REPORTS AND VIDEO.

The Stargate megapanels have been moved to the Marriott this year, so I'm not entirely sure how it's going to be handled. A new and adventurous world, I'm sure!

But it doesn't look like heat will be the issue, this year!

This is the leaflet we would hope to have distributed at Dragon Con. Since it is too close to D con for us to try and get stuff printed professionally, we are asking for volunteers to get this printed and distributed.
Becky has kindly said that she will print some out for us, and that in itself is a huge help! Thanks Becky!!



A4 or A5, it does not matter as long as it is out there furthering the cause and bringing peoples attention to it that may not have known and could help.
Distribute them by hand or leave them where people can see them, its all good!!
If you ARE able to do it, can you contact me and I shall send you the original file.

Dragon*Con is VERY flyer-heavy, though. It can be hard to get attention. But I'll definitely drop them in the track room and at the tables by the autograph area. (Great for folks bored while waiting in line.)

And if anyone wants to hand them out personally, come find me!

Well getting ready today washing clothes and going over the sch. Hopefully i won't forget anything. When i went to Shoreleave i checked and double checked and i still ended up forgetting something.

It looks like we're going to have enough leftover energy from Fay to give us our traditional "pop-up" showers in the afternoon through the weekend. Since the con is so spread out this year, having a small umbrella along probably wouldn't be too bad of an idea.

Is it time yet? I am SO ready!!

I am bit bummed, though, that I have one clash between two of my fandoms: one of the Stargate megapanels is at the same time that my friend Steve is giving the State of Star Wars presentation. He'll kill me if I miss that one. So someone sneak in video, okay?

OK, one and all Drogon*Con attendees: I have sent off a *few* copies of the flyer that Fraggle has to Rosiewook for the convention. She should have them tomorrow afternoon. She will need your help in handing them out. There are four different sizes, including some wallet sizes. I figured those would be easy hand to everyone you meet who seems slightly interest. The only thing about those is that the print is a bit small, so I also sent some Bic pens so you can write on the back if need be. You can write the websites bigger, or if you need to jot down someone's email or phone or hand out your own to someone - hey! They make good note pads. You'ld be surprised how handy they are.

I saw her, for the first time, at Dragon*con in 2007. She is so cool. I love her as Vala. Her and Michael Shanks have an incredible chemistry together.

I really would love to get at photo with her.

The new schedule for the STARGATE TRACK is now up. I think it is soooo Cool that Atlantis & SG1 will each be having each their own separate panels as well as a mega panel. The Atlantis panel is 11:30 am Friday.

I am now coming on the train, arriving Friday morning and staying at the Atlanta Hostel! It's cheap and clean!!

So what's the plan for meeting up?

I'm going to be a bit more Star Wars heavy this year, but definitely want to hang with my Squirrel chicks in the Stargate track as much as possible.

(And I'll at least TRY and get into the Big Name Trek Stars events.)

Also, I have a new cell phone number. It's a pay-as-you-go that I only use at cons, so bare that in mind.

I am trying to organize a big squirrel Breakfast for Friday morning. Still haven't decided on a time and place yet. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe meeting up around 7- 7:30 am.


Then I thought that after breakfast we could go wait in line (for 2 or more hours) to get really good seats for the Atlantis panel at 11:30 Friday morning.

I don't get into Atlanta until 8am on Friday...should be all registered and checked in by 930 I am hoping!!! then I do the line wait...hopefully with other squirrels?
