Hey.

It is break time so here I am.

It is bit cool today but at least it sunny. We have had so much rain lately it is depressing.

I hope all the Squirrels in Florida are staying Dry. I saw on the news that Fay didn't make it to Hurricane status. Hopefully she won't stay around too long.

I just watch the promo for The Shrine on the MGM Atlantis site. OH MY!!!! I think I might need a few tissues for that ep. Only two days for the US and three days for me.

Got the new SGA book today Mirror, Mirror - which was a bit of a surprise as I hadn't ordered it. Don't normally buy books new - I'm a secondhand shop junkie!

Dave got it for me. Wasn't that nice? I think he's trying to intice me away from the computer. I think he's jealous of the squirrels!!!!

Heh, heh. Wolfie just told me a HORRIBLE story about her ordering Mirror, Mirror from Boarders. She ALSO got (FINALLY) the book. Yesterday or today. I can't remember. LOL! That makes me laugh to see you have a copy of it, too.

Some jerk just ranted to Joe that this is his fault. How stupid. SGA's rating were really good.

I am so going to have a coniption.

MGM is so dumb for giving Atlantis the ax. I thought the numbers were great. Mind you with the show airing just in the States the numbers would be low. Now the numbers would be even higher if everyone Worldwide got to see the show all at the same time.

Yes i am saddened by this news. I am trying to be possitive an say that atleast we will have the new shows but crap i still want new SGA shows. I don't think i will be content for awhile.

NZ Jackie and i are working on a new site for Save SGA. Anyone interested, I will be adding links when its up and running. A place for all fans of SGA to get involved. Squirrels included LOL!!!
A specific site for ALL fans to vent and help. Good idea or bad??

It is a good idea, there is an embryonic protest movement starting HERE but a dedicated website (run by us ) is better.

I just got home from work alittle while ago & read the post SGA cancelled! Are you kidding me! I am really really peeved right now! there is just not enough emoticons to describe how I feel right now! We should definately do something about this!

Six weeks in on the new Season and they pull the plug for a Season Six, that's been on the cards for awhile!!!

Hi Guys,

Am back from hols!! Fab time so loads to tell but first and foremost - gutted about SGA being canx!! Are they mad??? Does DH know? He hasnt said anything! I could just cry!!

As for the hols - well eventful to say the least - saved a little girl from drowning! Yup - see me running like lightning across to the other side of the pool and yanking the 2 year old out of the deep end! I now have a friend for life! Bless. She just fell in and no-one noticed but me. I dont even remember running. I just remember seeing her head so far under but her little hands were only about a foot under the surface so I grabbed her hands and just pulled her out coughing and spluttering. To be honest I was quite upset by the whole thing actually. Plus I then went into stress mode constantly watching kids around the pool. I mean what was she doing around the big pool without armbands on in the first place?? Anyway , she was ok which is what counts I suppose!
Other than that did pretty much nothing all fortnight! Just laid by the pool sunbathing! (lazy so and so i am!) But I feel so much better for it!

My best friend had her baby while I was away! Sophie Elizabeth (isnt that a cute name!) 7lb 7! She is soo adorable. Bags werent even unpacked and i had to go round for a cuddle!! Of course auntie liz will spoil her rotten!

Hope evreyone is ok and not suicidal yet over the blog hacker (a pox on them!!) and SGA geting canx (yet another pox on sci fi channel - I am boycotting the channel from now on)
