| SFM and Scruff -- I agree that the size means nothing. Even shopping for my slender almost 15 yr. old brings different sizes for different clothes makers! She is slender, but has curves, and a great many of the styles are made for toothpicks!! She has ridden horses since she was seven, so she has muscular upper legs, meaning most sizes won't fit her there! (Heard of skinny jeans???) As a person who is also of the larger class, I would say that is probably a typo -- However, SFM, that US size would probably fit you, or even a 14-16 US. Ekorre -- AL was just wondering who jansky was, and I haven't met her, so I didn't know either. But, being a squirrel, she must be a great person! | |

| AL -- Have a great weekend with the fam!! Fanny -- Glad you're having a good time on your vacation!! La maison de vacances est tres belle et le chat aussi! (Was that the right grammar?) Beautiful view! Did you actually get to see any of the race or just on TV? They were in Provence on the day you arrived. | |

| Hey squirrels! How's it goin'? Jeremy's in Seattle for the week. And today is his birthday. And, and, and I got stung by a wasp this morning! But other than that I'm good. Ziggy didn't eat a couch or child so I'm happy. @Avabird: Allie's curvy too. As in she's a bigger bra size than me. And you're so right, clothes are made for toothpicks nowadays! Plus at 5'9" it's hard to get jeans that fit her, too. She plays soccer and has muscular legs. But I tell her it's the clothes that are the problem. They are made in factories as cheaply as possible to make a profit. Quality is an issue. How weird to think that a hundred or so years ago clothes were made much better and to fit the person who was to wear them! @Sherwood Forest M.: Don't worry about the clothing sizes. They aren't standard. And I can pick a pair of jeans that's a small size and is too big for me and a large size that's too small for me. It's all about the clothes fitting. @Bar: Yes, his big brown eyes draw me in. I do love Ziggy. @Scruff: It's funny you should mention bean bags. I have a *history* with them. My family all has said that I would deserve Ziggy breaking open 7 bean bags. That's what I did when I was three. I ripped open about seven bean bags and made it *snow* in the basement. My older sister still hate me. They had to clean it up. Hmmmm... maybe Ziggy and I were meant to be after all! Alrighty! I need to get dressed and do more laundry! | |

| In honor of Jeremy, we have having gray, rainy weather!!! It makes me want to and feel very lazy.. But I have to straighten the house cause the cleaners come on Tuesdays!! And the house has to be clean enough for them to clean.... One brand she tried on she had to get a bigger size than the jeans she was actually wearing that day!! She suffers from our family curse -- shortness. She's hoping to grow another 3-4 inches so she will be at least taller than me! It's getting pretty obvious that the younger one is going to be taller! That does not make the older one happy! She just had a huge growth spurt and in 6 months grew 4 inches and gained almost 20 lbs.! Strange trivia: The part of Texas known as North Texas is not the northernmost part of the state. | |

| @AL: Have a great time at your mom's! @Fanny: Ugh! That's hot! I really am not a fan of the heat. But I'm not a fan of the cold, either. I guess I'm very picky about the weather. I don't mind the rain too much. And even a thunder storm is ok. I think it's reasonable to ask the weather to be a bit cooler. Right? @Avabird: We're having a dreary, rainy day here, too! And I think Jeremy's in some record breaking hot weather out there! LOL! Life is funny like that. Allie grew that much when she was 10. We had her tonsils taken out and all of a sudden she was actually sleeping and happy. She stopped getting sick and shot up to my height in about two months. Then in the next four months she grew taller than me! So before her 11th birthday she was actually TALLER than me! At TEN! I'm 5'5". I am not the tallest person but I never imagined my 10 year old would be taller than me. Is it horrible that I hope Erin won't sprout up like that in the next two years? I'm thinking Erin might be shorter than Allie but I know the danger of banking on that. As it is now, I have decided that I will end up being the shortest one in my immediate family. | |

I find saying that I am anywhere from a 20 to 24 is less insulting than thinking I am 3x extra large!! Why don't they call the sizes something like anorexic/skinny/normal/cuddly etc?! Surely if something comes in 5 sizes then the middle size is medium regardless of what number is on the label?!
After that little rant I will head over to the minigeek shop and have a look around! Guess that makes me extra, extra cuddly LOL

| Can't answer the techie problem either. Got a bit of a sore throat now....just been on the phone to my little bro for nearly an hour! He can be a bit hard to pin down for a chat but we managed it tonight! I told him I have booked my train ticket to visit him in September so there is no getting out of it now! Managed to dodge the showers today thank goodness. It seems like someone up there is emptying buckets of water on us for a few minutes then the sun comes out again! Wish they would make up their mind!! | |

Anyone else ever have issues with the log in box on the main page? Because I've NEVER been able to make it work. I've always had to go into the forums and backtrack. Is there some trick I'm missing??

| I just finished watching all five eps of Torchwood Children of Earth and I was very pissed at what happened. If they make anymore eps I am not watching them. So I had to pop in here for a little cheering up and it worked. I love you guys. I saw the good news that David has been at work on the site. I wanted to post a comment to his blog but I couldn't log in. I am off to see what other fun I can find on here. | |

| Scarym -- You're not alone.... Kimbers was on a total rant about it yesterday on Twitter... Lots of people apparently were not happy with those eps... After hearing everyone, I decided just not to watch at all. You guys who are having trouble logging in -- are you going to the website or are you trying to log in through the link David twittered? I couldn't get through from the link, but could at the website itself. As I was reading some more of the comments, I got to thinking about the one for keeping D informed of the hot topics we discuss, and what those hot topics quite often are --- laundry, weather, those kinds of things! | |
